Visa Information

Visa Requirements & Invitation Letters

We look forward to welcoming you to Vienna for the 21st ICC Conference, and we want to ensure your journey is as smooth as possible. To help you plan your trip, please check whether you need a visa to enter Austria.

Who needs Visa?

Austria is part of the Schengen Area, meaning that citizens from Schengen member states can enter with a valid passport or national ID card—no visa required. However, travelers from outside the Schengen Zone may need to apply for a short-stay visa before their trip.

If you’re coming from a non-Schengen country, your passport must:
✅ Be issued within the last 10 years
✅ Remain valid for at least three months after you leave Austria

Since visa regulations can change, we highly recommend checking with the Austrian embassy or consulate in your country or visiting the official Austrian government website for up-to-date information.

Need a Visa Support Letter?

If you need a visa invitation letter to support your application, we’re happy to help! Here’s what you need to know:

✉️ The letter will only be issued once your conference registration is fully paid.
⏳ Please submit your request at least 8 weeks before the conference to ensure enough processing time.
📄 All letters will be sent as a PDF via email.

While we’ll do our best to support you, please remember that the conference organizers cannot influence the visa approval process. Applications can take up to 8 weeks, so if you need a visa, we strongly recommend starting the process as early as possible.

We can’t wait to see you in Vienna! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Safe travels and happy planning! 😊
